Floating Night Order Selector
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour (flat rate)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 4:00 PM until completion
Location: Salem Warehouse
Job Summary:
Layman Distributing is looking for a dependable and flexible Floating Night Order Selector to join our night warehouse team. Unlike traditional order selectors who are assigned to one section, this role requires the ability to work across multiple areas of the warehouse. You’ll be moved based on nightly or weekly operational needs, making adaptability a key part of your success.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately select customer orders utilizing technology
  • Work in multiple sections of the warehouse as needed (freezer, cooler, dry goods, etc.)
  • Support picking, staging, replenishment, and other operational tasks where assigned
  • Maintain a consistent pace while ensuring order accuracy and quality
  • Follow all safety protocols and help keep the work environment clean and organized
What We’re Looking For:
  • Flexibility to work in various areas of the warehouse on short notice
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable working in different temperature zones (freezer, cooler, dry)
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of the shift
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required—we will train!

Job Summary:
Layman Distributing is seeking a Night Quality Control Inspector to join our warehouse operations team. This role is critical to our customer satisfaction—ensuring every order leaves our facility with complete accuracy. If you're detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and verify picked orders for accuracy before sending for shipment
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or quality issues in a timely manner
  • Work efficiently to keep pace with production volume without sacrificing accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with pickers and supervisors regarding issues or trends
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be self-motivated and reliable
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Previous warehouse or quality control experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person!

Starting Pay: $15/hour + Production Incentive Pay – earn $20+/hour with performance!

​Hybrid Day Warehouse Associate & Route Driver
Starting Pay: $18/hour
Location: Salem Warehouse
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and versatile team member to work as a Hybrid Day Warehouse Associate & Route Driver. This unique position will primarily support general warehouse operations, with occasional driving responsibilities using a 26-foot box truck to cover delivery routes when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day warehouse functions including receiving, stocking, and staging inbound freight
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely (training provided)
  • Clean and straighten the warehouse
  • Step in as a route driver when needed to make deliveries using company box trucks
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness in both warehouse and delivery tasks
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving a 26’ box truck
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and teamwork ​
