Layman Distributing dates back to 1948 when the late founder W. D. Layman started a small, family owned-and-operated candy and tobacco jobber committed to serving convenience stores throughout Roanoke, Virginia.

Today, Layman Distributing is a member of the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) and continues to specialize in the convenience distribution channels as a full-line grocery supplier of the finest c-store products.

We have stayed true to our founding mission with each passing year, evolving with the growing needs of our customers by continually expanding our product lines, technology base, and service area-a vow of excellence that has led to the proud celebration of our 60^th anniversary in 2008.
